Activities Coordinator Full-Time
The Farmstead at Medford is accepting applications for a full-time hourly Activities Coordinator who will work closely with our residents to design, plan and facilitate programs and activities for a 62+ and older independent-living population.
This role is responsible for providing a resort-quality lifestyle for residents through planning programs and activities to support residents intellectual, social, spiritual, physical, and creative needs to promote their overall happiness and wellbeing. As the Lifestyle Director, you will actively contribute as a member of the community’s leadership team while fostering positive relationships with residents and other team members.
Schedule, Benefits and Pay:
- You will work the following schedule Tuesday through Saturday typically 9:30a-5:30p, and occasionally flex your hours to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities and duties:
- You will use your creativity to design and execute activities and programs that engage, support, and uplift our residents.
- You will lead fitness activities in the community’s state of the art fitness center.
- You will uncover the interests, hobbies, talents, and curiosities of each resident and accompany them shopping and to other fun outings.
- You can be an enthusiastic, organized planner of recreational activities, events and fitness programs that are in-line with residents’ interests.
- You get to enjoy conducting interviews with new residents to discover their intellectual, social spiritual, physical, and creative goals to foster all-inclusive programming.

Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older, either have or be able to obtain a CDL license and maintain a current driver license and clean driving record and be comfortable driving the company vehicle.
- You’ve got strong Knowledge of the local community, area, and region.
- You have excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs and email.
- Previous work experience with organizing and providing recreational programs, events and activities is preferred.
- Some previous experience that might make you a perfect fit for this role includes but isn’t limited to:
- Activities Director, Cruise Director, Event Planner, Fitness Instructor, Volunteer Coordinator, Art Teacher, Camp Director, Theater Performer.

Housekeeping/Utility Part-time
The Farmstead at Medford is accepting applications for a Part-time Housekeeping/Utility person to ensure a first-class experience for residents and their guests. As the Housekeeping/Utility person, you will ensure the cleanliness of our residents’ apartments, interior and exterior public space throughout the community so they can live worry-free.
Schedule, Benefits and Pay:
- You will work from 8:00am to 4:00pm, between 22 hrs up to 30 hrs per week.
- You can enjoy a delicious free meal during your shift.
- You will receive great pay and work/life balance.
Responsibilities and duties:
- You will share in making our community a beautiful place for residents to live.
- You will clean the interior and exterior of public and common areas.
- You will have the opportunity to serve a senior population and ensure resort quality standards of cleanliness and attention to detail for each resident you serve.

Qualifications:
- You know proper cleaning procedures including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning windows, use of floor care equipment, trash collection and cardboard removal, cleaning the elevator and door tracks. Maintain all guest floors hallways.
- You have experience working in a team environment, ideally in a hospitality setting.
- Experience in housekeeping is best but we are willing to train the right person.
- You will assist the F&B department as needed taking food orders and serving our residents.
- Willing to perform any request by management.
- You have the ability to develop positive relationships with residents, peers and the community.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- You will assist wherever in the facility there is a need (driving the passenger golf cart, assisting engineering as needed. Washing linen and rags as needed for the department.
- Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.

Concierge Part-time 2 days
The Farmstead at Medford is accepting applications for a Part-time Concierge (2 days) to ensure first-class customer service experience for residents and their guests. As our Concierge you are passionate about the importance of hospitality, safety, security, selling items from the market, fielding incoming calls, assisting the sales team, coordinating shuttle requests, activities coordination and collection of any fees, and providing a happy and positive impression to everyone that you interact with. You will contribute as a member of the community leadership team.
Schedule, Benefits and Pay:
- You will work either of the following schedules from 4:00pm to 8:00pm OR 8:00am to 4:00pm Sunday & Monday.
- You can enjoy a delicious free meal during your shift.

Responsibilities and duties:
- You will assist in several different areas including interacting with Residents and Guests, answering the phone, marketing, administrative work, assisting with events, assisting the dining room during peak mealtimes, and perform assorted cleaning.
- You will be the go-to person and provide a lasting first impression to visitors of the community while balancing and prioritizing many different roles and responsibilities.
- You will anticipate the needs of Residents, Guests, and Team Members of the community, including outside vendor deliveries.
- You will monitor and respond to emergencies such as the fire alarm panel.
- You will support the Community Managers by assuming leadership responsibilities in their absence.
- You must live by our Core Values of Respect, Kindness, and Service excellence.
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years of age or older, maintain a current driver license and clean driving record.
- A high School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- You are able to move tables and furniture periodically, sit for an extended period, bend, reach, and lift and carry approximately 25 pounds.
- You take the initiative and are independent, a problem-solver, able to de-escalate critical situations.
- You can multi-task and meet deadlines while projecting a resort-like image both in person and over the phone to residents and guests of the community.
- Strong knowledge of the local community, area, and region preferred.
- Previous work in customer service or hospitality.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, and excel).
- Be willing to perform any request by management.

Restaurant Server Part-time
The Farmstead at Medford is accepting applications for a part-time Restaurant Server to ensure a first-class dining experience for residents and their guests. The Restaurant Server works collectively with the culinary Dining Services team under the direction of the Chefs.
Schedule, Benefits and Pay:
- You will work the following schedule 11:30am to 7:30pm between 22 hrs and 30 hrs per week.
- You can enjoy a delicious free meal during your shift.
- You will receive great pay and work/life balance (no late nights!)
Responsibilities and duties:
- You will assist in several critical tasks in the preparation of meal service including, Prepping the Bistro, Pub, Dining room, and outdoor dining room for meal periods, by setting tables, stocking drinkware, condiments, flatware etc.
- You will focus on resetting the dining outlets following meals, removing trash, and busing tables, vacuuming and/or mopping, cleaning chairs and booths and buss stations.
- You will work alongside the culinary team in a dynamic kitchen with state-of-the-art equipment.
- You will greet and sit our patrons, serve beverages, take food orders, server food orders, and clean and reset the tables after use and take bus station pans to the dish room to be processed.
- You must live by our Core Values of Respect, Kindness, and Service excellence.
- Be willing to perform any request by management.
- Must be able to work on your feet for extensive periods, carry/lift food trays & bus pans that can weigh up to 25lbs.
Pay Range $16-$18 per hour.
